Moshe Kranc

CTO, Ness Digital Engineering

Moshe Kranc has worked in high-tech for over 35 years, with 25 years in management positions in both the United States and Israel. Most recently, Moshe has served as Vice President of Research and Development for Jerusalem Venture Partners Studio, head of the Big Data Center of Excellence at Barclays Bank, and CTO at Ness Digital Engineering.

Moshe was part of the Emmy-award-winning team that designed the scrambling system for DIRECTV and holds 5 patents in areas related to pay television and computer security. He lectures at the Jerusalem College of Technology, has published numerous technical articles, and was a member of The Association for Computing MachineryÂ’s Committee on Scientific Freedom and Human Rights.

Moshe received his B.A. degree in Computer Science and Jewish Studies from Brandeis University, his M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley, and his M.Sc. in Management from Boston University.

Moshe lives in Jerusalem, Israel with his wife Elise and their children.
